Beata Śniechowska is a Michelin-starred Chef-Owner, restaurateur, and author, best known as the founder of BABA and Młoda Polska Bistro & Pianino in Wrocław, Poland.

In 2026, BABA was awarded a Michelin Star, making Beata Śniechowska the first woman in Poland to receive a Michelin Star as a Chef-Owner.

Winner of the second season of MasterChef Poland, author of several culinary books, and one of the leading figures of Poland’s new generation of chefs and restaurateurs, Beata has built a reputation for her distinctive approach to contemporary Polish cuisine.

Holding a PhD in Engineering from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, she is a self-taught chef driven by curiosity, creativity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Her cuisine reinterprets Polish culinary heritage through a modern lens, drawing inspiration from childhood memories, local ingredients, and the rhythm of the seasons. Defined by apparent simplicity, precision, and deep respect for ingredients, her dishes often conceal highly complex and meticulous preparation behind their elegant presentation.

Beata is regularly invited to participate in some of the most prestigious culinary events in Poland and across Europe, including the Food & Future series, where she has cooked alongside some of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs.
